Ashley Greene and Joe Jonas relationship rumors continue.. And this time, confirmation is coming from close pal?

Twilight babe Ashley Greene and singer slash actor Joe Jonas continue to stay on the headlines after stepping out together couple of times. There was even a report claiming that the two were spotted while smooching.And now, here comes the latest spill, Heat Magazine is claiming that Ashley Greene’s pal confirms romance! Warning, this is still not confirmed. The said pal reveals: “She really likes him. Like, a lot. But she knows she can’t give in too easily or he’ll move on. She’s been pretty aloof and it’s driving Joe crazy.”

Driving Joe crazy? Really? OMG, he’s always crazy with his romances.So, Ashley is doing the reverse psychology in Joe Jonas. I think it’s kinda effective.

Another source adds: “He’ll say something like, ‘About time!’ when she does answer, and he’s got this joking tone, but we all know he was waiting for her with baited breath,” the friend explained. “It’s pretty cute.”

In her now-immortal novel Twilight, Stephenie Meyer describes Alice Cullen, sister of tween dream Edward, as a “devastatingly, inhumanly beautiful” pixie vampire with “obsidian eyes” and an “exquisite, elfin face.” Most actors would rather not admit that casting decisions were based on anything other than their craft, but 23-year-old Ashley Greene—who brought Alice to life in The Twilight Saga: New Moon and this summer’s Eclipse and is signed on for next year’s Breaking Dawn—has no such illusions. “Yes, I’m very thankful that Stephenie Meyer wrote a character that I happen to look like,” says Greene with a laugh. Given the series’ rabid “Twihard” fan base—legions of whom were locked in long before the film’s first scene was shot—if Greene hadn’t been an eerily perfect fit for Alice, the filmmakers would have heard about it. “The fans were already there,” Greene says. “Before they knew Ashley Greene, they knew Alice Cullen, and they all had an idea of how she looked.”

The Jacksonville, Florida, native was still hostessing at the Belmont, a bar and restaurant in Los Angeles, when she got the call about Twilight auditions in 2007. Looking fabulous as always, Ashley Greene graces the cover of the July 2010 issue of ASOS magazine.

Hitting newsstands today, the Alice Cullen cutie got all glammed up for a striking spread in the monthly publication. During her interview, Miss Greene chatted about everything from getting chosen for “Twilight” and her troubles finding any privacy in the Big Apple.

Of her “Twilight” casting call, Ashley tells,

“I was 20 when I got cast in Twilight. I was still working at this restaurant in LA called The Belmont Cafe and I was reading the books while I was there. I freaked out when they told me I’d got the role, like, holy crap, this might change my life! I don’t feel that anyone could have expected this though. It’s still insane and I still have to pinch myself.”

As for her desire to get a little privacy every now and then, she dishes,

“The other day, I had eight paparazzi following me. For what? To watch me eat ice cream? It’s just silly. You can say it’s something that comes with the job, and it’s what everyone wants, for people to know who you are. When you can’t function in your everyday life and you can’t walk around without something being stated, it’s unnecessary and it takes away from what we’re here to do. It’s why I’m looking for an apartment in New York. There is so much more going on — there’s the music scene and Wall Street and I really don’t think everything would drop just because I walked in a room. It’s nice.”

Ashley dishes about her character:

Alice doesn’t seem to fight like the other vampires. What makes her different?
Alice is lithe, like a dancer, so we did much more of a Cirque du Soleil spin on Alice’s fighting, which was really cool. I grew up with a martial-arts background, plus I did acrobatics and tae kwon do. It was great to get back to that world.

Ashley Greene is feeling emotional about the end of the Twilight movies, likening the experience to “graduating high school.”

The 23 year old has played vampire Alice Cullen in the films since the first installment in 2008 and is currently preparing to shoot her scenes for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, which will be split into two separate movies slated for release from next year.

However, she’s already dreading heading back on set for the final films with her co-stars – as it will signal the franchise is coming to a close.

Reed tells Britain’s Total Film, “We all came into this as naive kids and we weren’t quite sure where it was going to go. So to come back to New Moon, we were all completely different. Eclipse was the same. We were all growing with these films. When we’re done with the fourth one it’s going to be an emotional moment for sure. It’s like graduating high school.”

Showing off her super sexy body, Ashley Greene is the cover girl for the new issue of Women’s Health magazine.

The “Twilight” babe looked super cute as she poses in a variety of getups, and even brings her “New Moon” costar Kellan Lutz in for a few shots.

And though she and Kellan have a fabulous friendship off the set, Ashley says she isn’t interested in taking things to a more romantic level with him.

“He’s one of my best friends, but if we were going to be romantic, we would have done it years ago! I like having him to talk to about other guys to get that male perspective. I really cherish our relationship, so I wouldn’t want to mess that up by dating.”

With so many female-driven films and strong roles at this year’s fest, and in the spirit of the opening night film, we’ll be profiling some of the most kick-ass females representing at SXSW this week. Next up: Skateland star Ashley Greene.

Like many of her cast mates, 23-year-old actress Ashley Greene has enjoyed a meteoric rise in popularity thanks to her involvement in the Twilight films, in which she plays the cheery, pixie-like vampire Alice Cullen. And, like many of her co-stars, Greene has taken advantage of her newfound celebrity to pursue non-Twilight projects between filming on New Moon, Eclipse, and the planned franchise finale, Breaking Dawn. One of those projects was Skateland, a Texas-set coming-of-age drama set at the beginning of the ’80s, in which Greene plays the best friend to actor Shiloh Fernandez’s lost protagonist, Ritchie Wheeler.

For Greene, the role of Michelle was a chance to stretch as an actor, to exercise muscles she hadn’t been given the chance to explore in her pre-Twilight days. Fans who have only seen Greene as Bella Swan’s perky BFF should enjoy watching her take the lead in Skateland, in which she’s asked to riff with her male co-stars, express subtle emotional beats, and play out a tender love scene with Fernandez.
